Dear UpGrade Media Arts Community:
For the week of January 13th, students are wrapping up their semester I courses in WVS. In science students are finishing up their engineering projects and in business, students are wrapping up their final week of pitch rehearsals.
Here are some highlights from this week:
Academics: Students continued to finalize their first semester courses in WVS. As a reminder, the final results from each WVS course will be combined with their in-person work and other UMA work. All of this information will determine their Semester I grades on the report card. Reports cards will also include students’ social justice, AVID, and learning partnership work.
Business: This week students revised their business pitches and continued to rehearse for next week's Thursday’s Business Pitch Competition. Students also went over the rubric to confirm that they understand the requirements for pitching.
Science: This week students are finishing part 1 of their engineering projects. Stay tuned for their audio-recorded innovations!
