Dear UpGrade Media Arts Community:
For the week of September 22nd, students are continuing to work on their WVS courses. They are meeting regularly with their teachers and have already completed several assignments. In Mr. Elzie’s class, students are in full swing into podcast production and recording. Students are participating in their roles and learning how a production works. In business/media students are learning about vision statements and mission statements. They will be working on a project that helps them create their own personal brand.

Podcast Town Academy (Mr. Elzie):
This week students are starting production for their first podcast. Students are active in their assigned roles and are learning how their roles work. Mr. Elzie is showing students how the different podcast equipment works and how they all tie in together for production.
Business and Media Integration (Mr. Thompson):
This week students are learning about branding and how brands differentiate. Students are also learning the difference between mission statements and vision statements. Students will be creating their own personal brands.
Picture Day! (Ms. Giah):
